THE reading room is stocked, the cafe is reopened and Mount Evelyn is abuzz with excitement.
After months of uncertainty following the Morrisons closure, the former Morrisons hub is back up and running.
Community House president Nicky Condello said the community house was providing many new and exciting programs, including social nights starting in September.
“For us it’s all about working for the community with any community groups that will work with us,” Ms Condello said.
“Our focus is programs, workshops and partnerships.”
Eastern Region Libraries customer service representative Suzanne Allan said that all members were pretty happy that there was a library presence in town.
“It’s technically a reading room, but it’s well stocked and always growing.”
The new cafe has also opened recently, with new products and choices available on the menu.
