Congratulations to all the athletes for again representing the club so well. The level of support and sportsmanship is outstanding and the envy of other clubs. Another huge thank you to all the parents for performing duties throughout the very hot weekend, your efforts enable our athletes theopportunity to compete. Finally, a massive thank you and congratulations to Rob and Kate van Duuren for managing a very successful team. Your calmness, attention to details and patience was certainly the standout performance of the weekend.
Next week has a normal Saturday morning athletics program for our Little Athletics athletes. Most ofthe attention will be on the events to take place later that night, our “family fun night” will be held at Morrison Reserve that night, a night of games, competitions, a few races, sticky wall, jumping castle and more. Bring your friends, neighbours and family, get an “unlimited rides” ticket and go crazy having fun.
The seniors will be busy competing at the Victorian Open Track and Field Championships at Albert Parkfrom Friday to Sunday. Good luck to all our athletes competing.
New members of all ages and abilities will always be welcomed at our club. Go to our website at www.yarrarangesathletics.org.au for more information, results and training times.
