Eye on record

By KATHRYN BERMINGHAM

LILYDALE Primary School students will be attempting a special record later this month – and they need your help.
The school is attempting to break the Australian record for the largest gathering of people participating in the Hokey Pokey.
With the current record at 463, the school is inviting members of the community to join teachers and students in performing the popular dance.
Join in the fun and get to know more about a local school while writing your name in the record books.
The attempt will be held on Thursday 19 March at 3.30pm. From 2.30pm, the community is invited to visit the school to meet teachers and students, visit classrooms and see first-hand the work being done.
