POLICE are reminding people to be vigilant and ensure they have their vehicles locked and valuables out of sight following a theft from a car in Bobs Park at Cardinia Reservoir.
A car was broken into and a handbag with personal items was taken from the car park on Aura Vale Road in Menzies Creek on 18 May.
The owner of the car, a 27-year-old Clematis resident, had left her car for half an hour between 3pm and 3.30pm and returned to find the passenger window smashed and the items missing.
An old, white Nissan Navara with a king cab was parked next to her vehicle and a blue BA Ford Falcon was parked behind her vehicle.
The male driver of the Nissan is believed to have been wearing an orange fluorescent jumper.
